New Images from The Dark Knight Rises: Bane and Bats!

In contrast to Nolan's second installment of the Batman series, The Dark Knight Rises is getting a lot more reveals. There were very few times when the Joker was seen before the film was finally released and even then we weren't sure what to expect. This time around, we've seen more pictures of Catwoman, Bane, and Batpods than you can shake a stick at. This time, we get some reveals from the cover and inside story of Empire magazine.
Having come off of one of the most feared and recognized villains like the Joker with one of the most recognizable and iconic performances of all time by Heath Ledger, Bane may seem like a strange choice. I, on the other hand, know Christopher Nolan knows what he's doing. Especially with rumors of Ra's al Ghul's return and the image that follows this text, this will bring us back full circle and I think it will end as a masterpiece.
On the cover, we also get a glimpse of Tom Hardy's view of Bane: "He's brutal. He's a terrorist. A really horrible piece of work."
