Here, my good friends, is the release of the first teaser poster for The Dark Knight Rises. Christopher Nolan, together with his brother Jonathan, look well placed to deliver even a step higher from the greatest super hero and comic film ever made. The thing I really love about this poster, is the same thing I always say when talking about Christopher Nolan's previous work to new fans that start their obsession with Inception or The Dark Knight: you can so clearly see the evolution that Christopher Nolan takes on all his works. The Inception influence on this poster is clear to me, with crumbling buildings in a lonely, dismal, monochrome world. This is no longer the orange Halloween of Begins, nor is it the dreary and searing blue flame of The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight Rises is clearly something worse.
