Just in time with the media blitzing and sneak peaks of the opening 6 minutes, the first full trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is officially out and in beautiful HD. Apple's got the new trailer for Christopher Nolan's hauntingly intriguing climax to the Batman trilogy he has been masterminding with some of the most talented people in the biz.
I've said it before, but I think the greatest thing about this new footage is that you can tell that Nolan doesn't rest on his laurels. The Dark Knight was so much deeper visually and unique from Batman Begins that it made it stand on its own two feet. The Dark Knight Rises is clearly following in those steps as it still feels like the Batman we know and love but just takes us even further into the abyss of despair. I mean, Alfred's crying for goodness sake! This is going to be beyond amazing.
