Remember Marooned? You know, that huge science fiction short film the guys at CrankLeft started more than a few months ago? Whatever happened to that? Well, life, love, and lax have hit in their full to try to destroy this production, but the will of these brave men cannot be broken. Post-production continues on this ambitious project of a small two-man crew stranded in the depths of nothingness.
This image is evidence of our work on Marooned as colorization, key framing, and graphics are under construction on the 1080p goodness we've captured. The soundtrack is just about finished and we are getting very close to closing the gate on foley work and other sound effects. The current plan is to have a final cut ready for print on Marooned in September, just in time for all of you to get your hands on.
