Hi Res Images From The Amazing Spider-Man
By: Brad Hodson

Today we've got some more superhero shots, this time from Marvel's camp. These hi-res images are from The Amazing Spider-Man, the abnormally pronto reboot helmed by director Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield as the web crawler himself. The new film(s) are meant to give us a new view of Spidey, as Sam Raimi's third installment, while amazingly lucrative, wasn't able to fully captivate audiences enough to warrant more. With Raimi's departure, Tobey McGuire and Kirsten Dunst chose not to continue without him. I say way to go for them.
Joining Garfield on these new adventures is Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), Dennis Leary (George Stacy), Rhys Ifans (Dr. John Conners / The Lizard), and Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben. The Amazing Spider-Man is set for release in July 2012. I'm personally not interested after watching the trailer, but hey, I love Andrew Garfield so I'll probably check it out. Continue on for more hi-res images (be sure to click to see them in all their glory averageness).
