News > A taste of Bumbershoot, Part 1
If you haven't heard of either The Frames or the movie Once, pursue either (or both) of them with the utmost haste immediately. But, to get you started, a couple members of CrankLeft, yours truly included, were able to sneak into Seattle's biggest music and arts festival, Bumbershoot and we had to hit up The Frames performance. We caught a bunch of video, but this one (taken today) was by far the best, and I just can't wait any longer to show it off.
This clip was taken during the encore of The Frames performance as head "Framer" Glen Hansard performed his rendition of "Falling Slowly" that he composed for the film Once. During the performance he calls an audience member (UPDATE: Joy Prendergast) up to sing the melody with him! Watch it now!!!
