Paul Thomas Anderson writing next movie

I can't describe to you the genius I've found in Punch-Drunk Love and Magnolia, and if you haven't seen these yet, shame be upon you. But, for those of you who have, you know Paul Thomas Anderson likes to take his sweet time between films, as his last release (Punch-Drunk Love) was in 2002. His latest movie, There Will Be Blood, will finally release at year's end. So how long before his next? Well, Anderson says he's already writing it...

“I’m writing something new now — and I actually like it,” he told Entertainment Weekly. Then, with a chuckle: “I know that will end.”

While I'm very happy he's on a good track, I certainly don't want to rush his artistic hand. Now to wait in line at a theater for a couple months in giddy anticipation of There Will Be Blood!
